Your August Reset…

Five questions to ask yourself

August can feel like a turning point.

Winter is nearly over, the days are slowly getting longer and spring is just around the corner.

It is a natural time to pause and ask yourself:

Am I still heading in the direction I want to go?

When you are navigating separation, it is easy to spend your days reacting to what is happening around you.

Another message from your former partner.

Another decision to make.

Another problem that needs your attention.

Before you know it, your own needs, goals and wellbeing have moved to the bottom of the list.

Your August reset does not need to involve a dramatic life overhaul.

It can simply begin with five honest questions.

1. What am I ready to let go of?

You may be holding onto anger, guilt, fear, regret or the belief that your life should have turned out differently.

Letting go does not mean that what happened was acceptable.

It means deciding that you no longer want it to control your future.

What are you ready to stop carrying into the next season of your life?

2. What is taking too much of my energy?

Pay attention to what leaves you feeling emotionally drained.

Is it constant communication with your former partner?

Trying to predict what they might do next?

Replaying old conversations?

Attempting to keep everyone else happy?

Your energy is valuable.

Consider where a boundary, a new routine or the right support could help you protect it.

3. What do I need more of right now?

Maybe you need rest.

Maybe you need practical guidance, emotional support or time with people who make you feel like yourself again.

Perhaps you need more time outside, more movement, more laughter or simply more space to breathe.

Instead of asking what you should be doing, ask what would genuinely support you.

4. What is one thing I can do this month?

When life feels overwhelming, it is tempting to believe you need to fix everything at once.

You do not.

Choose one meaningful step.

Gather your financial documents.

Book the appointment you have been avoiding.

Create a communication boundary.

Ask for help.

Do something just for you.

One clear step can create more momentum than a long list you never begin.

5. How do I want to feel by spring?

Rather than focusing only on what you want to achieve, think about how you want to feel.

Calmer?

More confident?

More organised?

Less controlled by your former partner’s actions?

Clearer about what comes next?

Once you know how you want to feel, you can begin choosing small actions that move you closer to it.

This is your opportunity to reset

You do not need to wait for a new year, a perfect moment or the end of your separation to start creating change.

August can be your invitation to pause, reconnect with yourself and decide what you want to carry forward.

You are allowed to change direction.

You are allowed to protect your peace.

You are allowed to begin again.

Our September retreat is now sold out, but you can join the waitlist to be the first to hear about our next retreat.

Join the waitlist for our upcoming Re-Charge workshops, where you will be supported to reconnect with yourself, gain clarity and begin creating your next chapter.
